Well lookey here! At last, a live CD of Bruce's solo show is being made available to the public.
The 14 song, 74 minute disc is a collection of live performances from four nights at The Salida Cafe from 2004 through 2006.
Bruce plays Mandolin, Acoustic and Electric Guitars, Lap Steel, 6 String Bass Guitar, and Foot-board on original compositions that span his carreer from his first Mandolin tune, to his recent Hurricane Katrina tribute.

SEPTEMBER/OCTOBER NEWS '08
Greetings from Howard, Colorado... Last minute announcement! The guy that was traveling cross country to play at the Salida Cafe tomorrow night (Friday) had to cancel because he can't buy any GAS as a result of IKE, So I'm going to fill in and be glad I'm not on tour somewhere with no gas. We'LL call it the HAPPY WE R HOME SHOW.
Great times at Lake City Wine Fest and Telluride Blues n' Brews Fest (is there a pattern here?) see pic.
In unrelated news, Ron Thomason of The Dry Branch Fire Squad has sent out a well written dissertation on U.S. politics that everyone should read, I don't care who you are. You can access "The Tenth" on the DBFS website: www.drybranchfiresquad.com. Simply click on Former “installments” in the left column on the home page. Then when the installments come up, scroll down past “The Ninth.”

By the way, I received an OBAMA pin in the mail today and man is it small! I HOPE that's indicative of HIS bail-out policy.
